In 2005, the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum opened a sparkling new facility in the city of Portsmouth. As the museum, which honors 350 of the state’s most important athletes, coaches, administrators, educators, and journalists, prepared to move into its new digs, PhotoAssist was there to help, clearing the rights to many of the photographs the Hall of Fame planned to display. We tracked down many new images and cleared the rights, allowing the Hall of Fame to focus on its mission while we worried about the details.
“The amount of time and depth of research required to compile a solid inventory of photos was beyond the scope of our small staff, so we looked to PhotoAssist to do the work for us. We were very pleased with the results and believe our inductees and visitors are, too.”
